About the Speaker
Tom Doré is the Chairperson of AFS’s Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee and a vital contributor to its Industry 4.0 Committee. Recognized for excellence with the 2022 Norris B Luther Distinguished Service Award, he formerly served as Technical Director at AFS, overseeing several key divisions, numerous committees, and research projects. With a career spanning over 30 years, Doré has been a Vice President at Alu-Bra Foundry and brings invaluable hands-on foundry experience to his technical leadership roles. Although retired from AFS staff, his active involvement continues, making him an authoritative voice in the metal casting industry.
