AFS Chicago presents: “Update on AFS Research & Metal Casting Technical Services” with Brian Began.
This online Zoom presentation will review the status of research funding and the various technical & foundry-centric projects those funds support. Additionally, updates for both the expiring and the soon-to-start projects funded by the AMC (American Metalcasting Consortium), will be provided and/or introduced. Various technology transfer services evolving at the American Foundry Society (AFS) will be described; and finally, questions will be fielded on numerous industry developments at AFS.
